A

The context

A banquet of honour created from nothing, with no previous edition to build on: no brand image, no partner file, no proof of existence to put in front of a communications director being approached for a partnership.

The evening sets out to honour those who have come through a professional, family or health ordeal and found their way out of it. That register rules out the usual vocabulary of the corporate gala — and it commits us on how the evening itself is held.

The brief Give the event a verifiable existence before it takes place, an address to print on partner letters, and a production worthy of its subject on the night.

B

What we are producing

  • 01 The event’s identity is settled: theme, “Solar Elegance in noble fabric” dress code, poster and invitations in their several formats.
  • 02 The dedicated page is live, with its reply form and its partners’ area — it was published ahead of the rest of the site, to serve the campaign.
  • 03 The presentation note and the costed partnership file have been handed to the commissioner general and are circulating among the organisations approached.
  • 04 Stage management for the day is being prepared: site survey, floor plan, scenography, welcome protocol, sound and coordination of every supplier.
  • 05 Photo and video coverage is booked; usage rights will be assigned in writing.

C

What the evening will give

On 29 August the Sweet Garden will move from broad daylight into night as the evening goes on — that is the scenography itself, and it is what the lighting design prepares for: long tables under strung lights, a room that changes colour as the sun goes down.

Partners will find there what they are committing to: an audience gathered in one place, a framed speaking slot, and photo and video coverage they can use in their own communication.

After the event, this page will become the full case study: gallery, press review and coverage report will take the place of these lines.
