Case study 05 — Communication & Events
Institutional receptions and galas
Design and production of corporate receptions: room scenography, lighting design, catering and welcome protocol.
- Year
- 2022 — 2025
- Location
- Abidjan
- Division
- Communication & Events
The context
A corporate reception is judged on two moments: the first ten minutes, when guests arrive and look for where to go, and the service, when two hundred covers have to leave the kitchen without the room noticing.
Between the two, what can be seen — the scenography, the light, the tables — is only the visible part of a floor plan and a schedule held to the minute.
The brief Produce receptions of an institutional standard, with a welcome protocol and a service calibrated on confirmed covers.
What was delivered
- 01 Site survey, floor plan and scenography: dressing, arrangements, lighting design and stage set.
- 02 Technical management: sound, lighting, screens and projection, standby generator.
- 03 Welcome and protocol: briefed hosts and hostesses, uniforms, seating of officials.
- 04 Catering: cocktails, buffets and seated dinners, table service and pastry.
- 05 Photographic coverage of the event, delivered retouched.
The outcome
Receptions produced from design through to the strike, with a single point of contact and a single invoice. What was delivered for a given client is discussed only in a meeting, with that client’s written agreement.
